Cabinet public hearings

The Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet conducts public hearings at various locations throughout the state as needed to receive public comments pertaining to issues that could affect the citizens of the Commonwealth.  Click on the cabinet divisions below to view the dates and times of public hearings and meetings scheduled in Kentucky. 

  • The Division of Water is charged with the responsibility for managing and protecting the state's waters, both on the surface in lakes, streams and rivers as well as groundwater beneath the surface of the land in the state.
  • The Division for Air Quality protects human health and the environment by achieving and maintaining acceptable air quality through the operation of a comprehensive air monitoring network and by creating effective partnerships with air pollution sources and the public. 
  • The Division of Waste Management protects human health and the environment by minimizing adverse impacts on all citizens of the Commonwealth through the development and implementation of fair, equitable and effective waste management programs.
